Privacy Policy

ServIdeal is a marketplace where clients describe the work they need and companies offer their services. This policy explains what we collect when you use ServIdeal, why we collect it and who can see it.

What we collect

When you register we store your email address and either a password or the Google or LinkedIn account you signed in with. Your profile holds what you enter during onboarding and under Account: your name and photo, your city, region, country and postal code, your phone number and, for a company, its logo, description, service niche, size, VAT number, business ID and photos of past jobs. We also store the posts you publish, the messages and photos you send, and anything you write to support.

How we use it

We use this information to run ServIdeal: to show your posts to the other side of the marketplace, deliver your messages, handle payments and payouts, and answer your support requests. We also use it to keep the service safe and fair — preventing abuse, enforcing usage limits and resolving disputes — and to understand how ServIdeal is used so we can fix problems and improve it.

AI drafts

When you ask the AI to draft a post, the details you enter and reduced copies of your photos are sent to OpenAI to write it. For this feature ServIdeal keeps only the draft text, a fingerprint of the photos and usage counters, not the photos themselves. Nothing is published until you have checked the draft and pressed Publish post.

Who can see your information

Other signed-in users see what your profile and posts show: for a client, your name, photo, the number of posts you have created and your active posts; for a company, its logo, name, city and country, description, photos of past jobs and active listings. Nobody sees your email address, phone number, postal code or street address. Beyond that, your data reaches only the providers we need to run the service — hosting and database, email delivery, payments and AI drafting — and only for that purpose. We never sell your data.

Cookies

ServIdeal sets one cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember your language, and uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, company and posts stop being visible, your conversations disappear from the other person's Messages list, and your email address and social sign-in are freed for a new account. We keep only what we still need for payments, disputes or legal obligations.

Your rights

You can see and change your details under Account at any time, and delete your account there for good. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to receive a copy of your data or to object to how it is used. Write to us through the support form under Help and we will reply by email.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as ServIdeal changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will tell you in the app about any change that matters to you.

Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who uses ServIdeal. By creating an account you agree to them, so please read them before you sign up.

What ServIdeal is

ServIdeal is a marketplace: clients publish job requests, companies publish service listings, and the two sides agree the price, timing and scope in messages. ServIdeal provides the platform and handles the payment, but the work itself is agreed between the client and the company, and ServIdeal is not a party to it.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to use ServIdeal. Give accurate details and keep them up to date. One email address can hold one account, and you choose during registration whether you are hiring or offering work; that choice is fixed. Keep your password private — you are responsible for everything done through your account.

Posts, photos and messages

What you publish stays yours. You give ServIdeal permission to show it to other users and to use it to run the service. Everything you post must be accurate, lawful and yours to share, and must describe real work — no spam, no illegal services, no content that harasses or deceives. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Payments and commission

Once a price is agreed, the client pays ServIdeal, which holds the money while the work is done and releases it to the company after the client confirms the job. Companies pay a commission on the agreed price, taken from the payout; the current rates are shown on the Pricing page. If a client does not confirm the job, ServIdeal reviews what happened and decides whether the money is released or refunded.

AI drafts

An AI-written draft is a suggestion. Check it before you publish — you are responsible for what appears in your post. AI use is limited per account and per day.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time under Account; deletion is final. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms other users.

Our responsibility

ServIdeal is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that a post will receive replies, that a company will do the work as agreed, or that the service will be available without interruption. To the extent the law allows, ServIdeal is not liable for losses arising from work agreed between users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ServIdeal changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and using ServIdeal after a change means you accept the updated terms; we will tell you in the app about any change that matters to you. Questions go through the support form under Help.
